Understanding and Combating the Many Faces of Corruption in Social Interactions

This Community Service (PKM) program took the form of an educational workshop with the theme “Understanding and Combating Corruption in Social Interactions.” The goal was to help students understand the various forms of corruption which are not limited to money but also manifest in everyday social interactions such as dishonesty, abuse of trust, cheating, having someone else sign in for you, and other forms of unfair behavior. This one-day event was held at Cenderawasih 1 High School and included educational presentations, interactive discussions, educational games, and an online quiz to assess participants’ level of understanding before and after the event. The results showed an increase in students’ understanding of the importance of integrity, honesty, responsibility, discipline, and compassion as ways to prevent corrupt behavior from an early age.
