Improving the Well-being of the Elderly through Exercise Programs and Pastoral Services in Arjasari Subdistrict, Bandung

This community service activity aims to improve the well-being of the elderly through a senior exercise program and pastoral care in Arjasari Subdistrict, Bandung Regency. The program was implemented using a participatory approach that integrated physical activity, spiritual guidance, and interactive discussions for the elderly participants. The activity was held in the church’s multipurpose hall in the afternoon from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM WIB, involving 12 elderly participants. Implementation methods included senior exercise, spiritual guidance, group discussions, and evaluation through observation and participant feedback. The results of the activity showed an increase in participation, physical fitness, zest for life, and the elderly’s awareness of the importance of holistic health. This program serves as a model for community-based elderly empowerment that integrates physical and spiritual aspects.
